Warwick man’s Halloween display featured on Good Morning America

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) – A Warwick man decided to take Halloween to a new level this year by building a replica of Michael Myers’ home on his front lawn.
David Bates decided in March to build the recreation based upon Michael Myer’s childhood home in the movie Halloween, where Myers kills his 6-year-old sister, while dressed up as a clown.
It took Bates 6 months to build the spooky attraction.
The display has made it national, being featured on Good Morning America on Halloween.
The Bates Haunted Yard display is located at 258 Pettaconsett Avenue in Warwick, and invites the public to visit on Halloween night, and even take a photo with Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees.
