Warwick mayor to start annual charitable Christmas display

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Warwick Mayor Frank Picozzi will start his Christmas display at his family home on Friday night.
Picozzi and his family go all out each year for their lights and decorations.
The display features an animated light show with classic holiday music.
The display at 75 Gristmill Rd. will start running Friday night, and will then be open Monday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 5:30 to 10 p.m.
The Picozzi family will use the display to gather donations for the Tomorrow Fund.
A donation box is set up in front of the display.
People who come to see the lights are welcome to leave a check to the Tomorrow Fund, cash, or use a QR code to venmo donations to Picozzi.
Donations are not required.
Children can also leave letters to Santa in Santa’s mailbox, hung on a classic red-and-white pole.
“Every letter gets a reply from the big guy himself, we just ask that you provide a self-addressed envelope, no stamps, the stamps are on me,” Picozzi said.
The Picozzi family annually runs the display through New Year’s Eve.
