Warwick PD recognizes elementary schooler for calling 911 after grandmother suffered seizure

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) – A special Norwood School student was recognized by Warwick Police on Thursday, for calling 911 when her grandmother suffered a seizure- saving her life.

Warwick Police Department says Brooklyn Kraemer was there when her grandmother was having an epileptic seizure, which caused her to fall and hit her head and fall unconscious.

Police say Brooklyn was able to unlock her grandmother’s cell phone, and call family, and call 911 to get her grandmother help.
