Warwick Police arrest 4 juveniles for vandalism spree

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Warwick Police Department said that four local juveniles were arrested in connection with 19 incidents of graffiti and vandalism in the Sandy Lane, West Shore Road area of the city.

Police said at least 15 incidences of the graffiti targeted businesses, residences, schools and other public buildings, while four incidents of vandalism targeted businesses and personal vehicles.

The department added the targets were apparently chosen at random and initial estimates to repair the damage were at least several thousand dollars.

The boys were released to their parents and will be petitioned to Family Court.
