Man reports being shot while entering Fast Freddie’s in Warwick, police say
Police say there is no threat to the public at this time.

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Warwick police said that a man reported being shot while entering Fast Freddie’s on Post Road.
The incident happened at about 4:30 p.m. Friday.
When officers arrived on scene, they found discharged shell casings on Fresno Road, the street next to Post Road.
Afterwards, that man, whose name was not immediately released, walked into Kent County Memorial Hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Capt. Daniel DiMaio said the suspect and victim knew each other and there is no threat to the public.
