Warwick Police seek iPhone thief

WARWICK, R.I. – Police in Warwick are seeking assistance from the public to identify a woman wanted for theft at the Rhode Island Mall.

According to a post on the Warwick Police Department Facebook, on December 4th, 2016, an unidentified male customer placed his iPhone on the counter inside Walmart.

While at the counter, an unidentified woman grabbed the iPhone and left the store.

"We are calling on all ghosts of Christmas past present and future to help us in identifying this wayward spirit……we do not want her to suffer the same fate as poor Jacob Marley…" Warwick Police said in the post

Anyone with any information leading to the identification and apprehension of the female suspect is encouraged to contact Det. Sgt. Eric Falcofsky at (401) 468-4254.
