Warwick Police: Woman allegedly stole cell phone from child

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Warwick Police Department is seeking assistance identifying a female suspect wanted for allegedly stealing the phone of a 12-year-old girl.

Police said they are seeking a light skinned Hispanic female who was seen on surveillance video taking a phone left the counter of the Starbucks in the Warwick Mall, and leaving.

The suspect carefully placed the stolen phone under her own.
