Warwick School Committee votes on contracts

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Warwick School Committee has voted to approve two new teacher contracts.

The motions were decided in executive session during Tuesday night’s school committee meeting. The vote for the two contracts: One retroactive for the past two years and another that covers the next three years.

The union now has 10 days to ratify this contract.

Prior to this, Warwick teachers had been working without a contract for more than two years.
