Warwick swears in compassion dog, Charlie

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — There’s a new member of the Warwick Police Department.

The city welcomed compassion dog Charley.

Charlie is a black Labrador retriever and was officially sworn in Monday morning by Mayor Frank Picozzi.

Charlie will serve as a member of the community police division.
