Warwick to break ground on new Pilgrim High School

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Tuesday, for the second day in a row, Warwick will hold a groundbreaking for a new high school.

At noon, officials will break ground on the new Pilgrim High School which will be built on the athletic fields of the existing Pilgrim High School.

The new school is expected to be finished for the beginning of the 2027-2028 school year.

Voters approved $350 million in bonds to build the new city high schools in 2022.
