Warwick to unveil ‘mobile library’ on Tuesday

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE)- The city of Warwick will be unveiling a brand new “mobile library” Tuesday morning.
The mayor’s office made the announcement on Monday morning.
The Warwick Public Library is teaming up with Westbay Community Action to put the mobile library out on the roads. The van will bring free Wi-Fi, computers, job training and more to underserved communities in the city.
One of the six grants awarded to libraries around the state from American Rescue Plan Act funding, was used to pay for the van.
A ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at City Hall for the official unveiling of the van.
