BOSTON (AP) _ State police say they’ve arrested six protesters at a peaceful demonstration staged by Logan Airport employees.

Logan employees and their supporters rallied Monday morning in support of higher wages and union organizing rights.

Police ordered the group of about 100 to disperse around 1 p.m. Police say six people refused to leave the terminal.

Officials say police were notified by protest organizers that several members of the group planned to defy police orders and be arrested.

Michael Gallagher, of Boston; Marvin Martin, of Dorchester; Mary Lombos, of Roxbury; Jacqueline Wesley, of Roxbury; Yusuf Farah, of Cambridge; and Roxana Rivera, of Warwick, Rhode Island, were arrested and charged with trespassing.

They’ll likely be arraigned Tuesday in East Boston District Court.

Police say the arrests were peaceful and orderly.
