Warwick woman wins big, with some help from her husband

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE)- A Warwick woman won big playing “Keno Plus” last week, with a little bit of help from her husband.

The woman won her $400,000 prize at the Cumberland Farms at 1291 Warwick Avenue.

She bet $1 and played the same 10 numbers that her husband had been playing for years.

All 10 of the numbers matched, netting her a $100,000 base prize.

The woman had doubled her wager to play the bonus game, the quadruple multiplier was draw and her prize ballooned to $400,000.

She told the Rhode Island Lottery that she plans on using her winnings to pay off her mortgage.
