Watch: Massachusetts State Police locate fleeing drug suspects using drone

BRAINTREE, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police utilized a drone Thursday in the search for two hidden drug suspects who fled from a vehicle crash.

Assisting Quincy police, the troopers launched the drone called MSP Air Wing in the pursuit of the suspects who failed to stop for officers before crashing.

After the collision, the suspects fled to nearby woods, and troopers used Air Wing to locate them attempting to hide lying prone.

Using the drone footage, troopers converged on the suspects’ location and both were taken into custody.
