Water main break in Attleboro impacts morning commute

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — A water main break in Attleboro disrupted the morning commute on Thursday.

Police said the break happened on Bishop Street.

The area from Park Street to Pike Avenue remained closed as of 9:15 a.m.

Water service was turned back on for Bishop Street residents and neighborhoods up to Rambler Road.

Drivers were advised to avoid the area as crews worked to fix the water main and the road.

Police said there is no estimated time for when it will be fixed.
