Water main break in Warwick expected to slow traffic

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — A water main break on Airport Road in Warwick is expected to cause long delays in traffic, according to Warwick Mayor Frank Picozzi.

The break occurred around noon Friday on Airport Road in front of Hooters.

Only two lanes of traffic remain open at this time, one in each direction.

Mayor Picozzi is advising motorists to seek alternate routes if possible.
