WaterFire Providence to host partial lighting in ‘Three Nights of Lights’

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — WaterFire Providence announced its partial lighting is set to take place during the “Three Nights of Lights” event on Dec. 7.
The partial lighting will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 7, and the fires will burn until until 9 p.m. at the Rhode Island School of Design and Memorial Park.
The lighting is part of GoProvidence’s “Three Nights of Lights,” which will host a winter market with local artists, a Santa’s village for children to take photos with Santa, and a meet and greet with characters from ‘Ballet RI’ at Market Square.
The three day festival will also host food vendors and performers.
There will also be multiple donation boxes for Adoption Rhode Island’s Holiday Drive scattered throughout the event.
Adoption Rhode Island will accept donations of toys, clothing, household items, and gift cards for teens that are getting ready to age out of foster care.
The “Three Nights of Lights” will be open from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. from Dec. 5 to Dec. 7, with some events having varied activity times.
