WaterFire releases full season schedule

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — WaterFire Providence has released its full season schedule Thursday.

The season will include six full lightings and two partial lightings.

“We are grateful for all our season supporters and looking forward to the 2024 lighting season,” says Director of Sponsorships and Corporate Relations Ed Cabral said. “This season can only be successful with the support of our donors and sponsors. We are always looking for additional funding to create memorable events that are accessible for all to enjoy.”

The first lighting, scheduled for April 18, was cancelled due to inclement weather.

The full schedule for the season is as follows:

Saturday, May 11

Partial lighting in Waterplace Basin from 7:55 p.m. to 10 p.m .

Saturday, June 1

Full lighting from 8:14 p.m. to midnight.

Thursday, July 4

Full lighting from 8:24 p.m. to midnight.

Tuesday, July 30

Partial lighting in Waterplace Basin from 8:05 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Saturday, August 31

Full lighting from 7:07 p.m. to midnight.

Saturday, September 21

Full lighting from 6:43 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Saturday, October 5

Full lighting from 6:19 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Saturday, November 2

Full lighting from 5:38 p.m. to 10 p.m.
