Wayland Diner in Providence closes

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Wayland Square Diner in Providence has closed.

In a letter posted on the door, the owner said he failed lease negotiations.

The diner, located at 208 Wayland Avenue, opened its doors back in 1957.
