Weather-whiplash: From frosty to feeling like summer

Don’t put those shorts away just yet! Summer is making a return to Southern New England later this week.

But not before feeling like winter Tuesday morning. Lows will drop down into the 30s for many, prompting Frost Advisories across Providence, Bristol (MA) and Plymouth Counties.

While overnight lows in these areas will be between 34 and 38 degrees, it will be near freezing at the ground which means frost can form.

Temperatures will quickly get back to seasonable levels on Tuesday, before soaring back into the 70s throughout the week.

The culmination should be on Saturday, where upper 70s are likely – some even close to 80!

A dry front may backdoor on us Saturday into Sunday, and the associated wind shift will bring temperatures back down to average.

The next threat of rain will come Sunday night into Monday as a cold front approaches from the west.

Have a great night!
