Weekend Middleboro stabbing death suspect to appear in court
WAREHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — A Middleboro man is due in court Monday after police accused him of stabbing another man to death this weekend.
According to the Plymouth County DA’s office, police were called to a home on Fairview Street around 8 Saturday night.
When they arrived, they found 66-year-old Paul Pomerleau with several stab wounds.
He was treated and rushed to an area hospital where he died.
Witnesses told detectives that an argument at the house led up to the stabbing.
That’s when police arrested 41-year-old Andrew Horsman and charged him with murder.
According to the DA’s office, the victim was in a long-term relationship with Horsman’s mother.
Horsman will be arraigned Monday in Wareham District Court.
