Welch Leads Local Golfers After First Round Of Junior PGA Championship

Fresh off a third straight RI Junior Amateur title, Patrick Welch is the leading local golfer at the Junior PGA Championship after the first round Tuesday. Welch shooting an even par 69 at Wannamoisett Country Club in Rumford. That score putting him two strokes off the co-leaders at -2.
