Welcome Spring! Clouds and Drizzle Start Off the New Season

Clouds have moved in for Thursday with patchy fog and drizzle as well as a return to cooler and more seasonable temperatures due to top out this afternoon in the upper 40s. Rain will develop after midnight as a strong cold front comes through. The rain may be heavy at times with up to half an inch possible by the end of the morning on Friday. As the front departs Friday by noon, it may finish up as a quick burst of snow in the higher elevations. Friday will become windy on the heels of the cold front as skies clear to mostly sunny. Friday highs top near 52. The weekend will feature tons of sunshine and a big temperature drop. Saturday will be mostly sunny and milder than average with highs in the upper-50s. An afternoon cold front will bring a few clouds and the slight chance of showers. Temperatures drop by 10 degrees for Sunday with highs in the 40s but it will have wall to wall sunshine. Monday will be mostly cloudy with the chance of a rain and snow mix early on with low pressure moving in. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies and highs near 50. Tuesday will be drier but mostly cloudy with highs near 53. Rain looks to return for Wednesday.
