Wellfleet beach in Mass temporarily closed after great white shark sighting

WELLFLEET, M.A. (WCVB) – A Wellfleet beach has been temporarily closed after a great white shark was detected in the water.
The shark was detected at Newcomb Hollow Beach at 10:06 a.m. Sunday, according to the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy’s Sharktivity app.
No swimming will be allowed at the beach for at least one hour.
