West Warwick fire engine crashes through station doors

A West Warwick fire engine appears to have driven through the doors of Station 2 on Main Street. (WLNE)

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — A fire engine drove through the doors of Station #2 on Main Street in West Warwick on Sunday.

The West Warwick Fire Department posted to social media alerting the public that Station #2 will be temporarily closed for repairs after an accident.

The post also said that no one was injured.

ABC 6 News crews on scene saw pieces of the building on the engine as it was parked outside the station.
