West Warwick man dies after single-vehicle crash

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The West Warwick Police Department said a 37-year-old resident died from a crash on Sept. 7.

Police and firefighters responded to the area of Brookside Avenue and Crossen Street for a report of a crash involving one vehicle.

At the scene, first responders found the driver unresponsive and began CPR and other live saving measures.

The victim was taken to Kent County Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation.
