West Warwick police hold fundraiser for child fighting cancer

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The West Warwick Police Department will be holding a fundraiser for a town resident in need.
Two-year-old Anthony, who is fighting Stage 4 neuroblastoma MYCN amplified, has gone through nine cycles of chemotherapy and surgery, will be admitted to Boston’s Children’s Hospital for additional chemo and a stem cell transplant.
The West Warwick police will be selling purple #AntStrong bracelets at the Warwick Police Department and the West Warwick Town Clerk’s Office beginning Wednesday.
The bracelets are $5 each with all proceeds going to Anthony’s family.
With 300 bracelets for sale, West Warwick police are challenging the community to “leave no bracelet unsold.”
