West Warwick police searching for man accused of stealing hedge trimmers

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The West Warwick Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a man they say is suspected of larceny.
According to police, on September 9, of this year, a man allegedly stole two pairs of hedge trimmers from R.I. Grinding Service on East Greenwich Avenue.
Officials say the man took the two pairs of trimmers from a store shelf while the business owner was distracted and left the store without paying for them.
Surveillance footage shows the suspect fleeing the area in a white BMW SUV.
