Westport Animal Control searching for pigs that escaped barn fire

WESPORT, Mass. (WLNE) — Westport Animal Control said that it is searching for pigs that escaped from a barn fire that took place on May 7.

The search is taking place on Witt’s End Lane after a fire on Sodom Road killed several animals.

Animal control said that a loose pig was found in a private driveway in the area after the fire, suffering from burns and scrapes.
