Wet and warm first week of March

Not everyday will feature rain nor be a washout, but you'll want to have the umbrella nearby

Happy Meteorological Spring! And it certainly will be feeling like it over the next week.

After a seasonably chilly day Friday, temperatures will return to the 50s this weekend. Unfortunately, it will also feature grey skies with rain moving in by midday Saturday.

The rain could be heavy at times later in the afternoon toward the evening, averaging around 1″ across the area. Rain will taper Saturday night with drier conditions for Sunday – perhaps even a few breaks of sun.

The overall trend will remain cloudy into Monday, with showers returning on Tuesday, with the unsettled pattern continuing later in the week.

Some chillier air will also arrive later in the week, which could possibly open the door for wintry weather in the 8-10 day timeframe, but this is far from a guarantee.
