Wet Weather Weekend

Friday will see mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers streaming through from south to north through the day and temps will top out near 65. Heavier and steadier rain will be throughout Connecticut and central Massachusetts. The heavier and steadier rain moves east into Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts tonight. We also have a chance of thunderstorms as well. Rain will be here Saturday as well and temperatures peak in the lower-60s. Sunday will be a blend of sun and clouds with a good chance of showers developing in the late afternoon and evening. Sunday will also be the coolest day with chilly highs in the low to mid 50s. Next week is looking dry and sunny but chilly with lows dropping into the lower-40s and we have the chance of frost early Tuesday morning. If you have outdoor plants you don’t want to lose, now would be the time to bring them inside.
