Whale found ashore in Fairhaven

FAIRHAVEN, M.A. (WLNE) – Fairhaven official worked Tuesday morning to save this stranded whale at Hoppy’s Landing.
A fisherman found the mammal around 8 a.m., and the harbormaster says it’s a young whale measuring at about 15 feet long.
We are awaiting updates from officials on the condition of this animal.
At last check, IFAW was assessing this situation.
