Whitehouse says he received bomb threat on Thanksgiving

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse’s office said the senator received a bomb threat on Thanksgiving.

The office said that “several other” Democrats also received threats, one of which was Rep. Seth Magaziner.

Whitehouse said he thanked the Newport Police Department for a quick all-clear.
