Wildfire Smoke Creating Hazy Skies in Southern New England
It’s been another hazy day across Southern New England as smoke from wildfires in Canada hasn’t dissipated just yet. But the next few days will look (and smell) better as a cold front helps to switch up our air flow and clear out some of the smoke and haze.
It’ll also keep temperatures below average for a little bit. We wake up to lows on either side of 60 tomorrow. It’ll stay mostly cloudy and highs in the afternoon will be in the mid to upper 70s with the warmest spots around 80 degrees. Don’t be shocked if you still see a little smoke, especially in the first half of the day, but it’ll be better than Monday and Tuesday have been.
Thursday looks sunnier and will be an, overall, beautiful day. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s. We’ll continue the sunny trend Friday, and temperatures get a light boost into the upper 70s and low 80s. A gorgeous end to the workweek, and great weather for the Pats home preseason opener at 7:30 PM!
As for the weekend? It looks… GORGEOUS. Mostly sunny with highs in the low 80s Saturday, mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80s Sunday. Enjoy!
