Will heavy rain impact your Halloween plans?
We’re starting off with a murky Thursday morning. Clouds are widespread, we have some mist & drizzle, especially along the coast, and we’re looking at gusty winds as well. Highs will be in the upper 50s. Expect a stray shower or two early on today before our storm brings the heavy rain this evening and tonight. Once we get to the tail end of the evening commute, we move from showers to more widespread and heavier rain. That will continue through midnight, with the rain tapering off early Friday morning. A rumble of thunder isn’t out of the question.
So, will that rain be a problem for Halloween itself? Not really.
We could still have a shower here and there through the Friday morning commute, and even a stray shower in the late morning/early afternoon. It’ll be mostly cloudy for the first half of the day, and breezy all day as well. However, no umbrellas necessary with the Halloween costumes! By the time everyone is getting ready to trick-or-treat, we’ll be dry. Highs will be in the upper 50s.
The weekend is looking beautiful. Similar to last weekend, we’ll be in the mid 50s with plenty of sunshine.
