FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) _ An employee of weapons manufacturer Glock has testified at Aaron Hernandez’s murder trial that surveillance video shows the former New England Patriots player holding a gun minutes after the killing.
Hernandez is accused in the June 17, 2013, killing of Odin Lloyd, who was dating the sister of Hernandez’s fiancee.
The video was recorded in Hernandez’s home at around 3:30 a.m. That’s less than 10 minutes after prosecutors say Lloyd was killed at an industrial park near Hernandez’s home.
Glock employee Kyle Aspinwall testified Wednesday that it is his opinion Hernandez was holding a Glock in his left hand.
Aspinwall says Hernandez was holding the weapon by the barrel. He pointed out to jurors the parts of the weapon, including the back strap, magazine well and trigger guard.
