Woman arrested in Cranston after shoplifting, fighting cops

A woman is caught shoplifting at the Stop & Shop on Garfield Avenue in Cranston before starting a fight with employees and police.

31-year-old Tiffany Sweeney was arrested after resisting arrest in the parking lot of the Stop & Shop, trying to fight officers with a fire extinguisher.

Police eventually used a taser to subdue her.

Sweeney is charged with felony shoplifting and resisting arrest, among other charges.
