Woman Arrested in Seekonk Stabbing

SEEKONK, MASS (WLNE) – A woman is in custody Tuesday morning after a stabbing on Monday night.

Police responded to a disturbance on School Street around 7:45 PM.

According to the department, the 19-year-old victim was stabbed in front of two other people and was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was arrested a short time later down the street from the scene.

Seekonk Police are not releasing additional information at this time.
