Driver narrowly escapes serious crash in Lakeville

LAKEVILLE, Mass. (WLNE) – A driver was able to escape from a dangerous crash on Route 140 on Tuesday.

Lakeville Fire Chief Michael O’Brien said the driver was able to escape with minor injurers, after crashing into a tree just off of Route 140 north.

O’Brien said the first accident happened around 3:30 p.m. A second accident happened 15 minutes later on the same road.

The driver in the second crash sustained minor injuries as well, according to O’Brien.
