Woman seriously hurt after being shot in her car in Providence, police say

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A woman was shot in her car in Providence late Tuesday night, according to authorities.

The shooting happened at about 11:30 p.m. on Fillmore Street.

Maj. David Lapatin said the woman, whose name wasn’t immediately released, is in serious condition.

No arrests have been made.
