Woman struck by van while crossing the street in Fall River
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River Police said a woman was struck by a van near Hartwell Street on Monday night.
Police responded to reports of a woman lying in the street at 7:50 p.m. and upon arrival they learned she had been struck by a van while crossing.
The man driving the van was unlicensed and police said he will at least be charged with that.
The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment for what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries according to police.
The incident is still under investigation at this time.
