Woonsocket announces water flushing

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Woonsocket Water Division has announced that the will be flushing hydrants from today until 5 a.m. Wednesday.

The flushing will be done in the following areas;

• East School St From Rathbun St  to North Main St.
• Pond St  from Social St to Winter St .
• North Main St From Gaskill St to Social St .
• Social St From John Cummings Way to North Main St.
• Winter St From Pond St to Summer St., including all side streets in these areas.

Customers may experience discolored water and lower than normal pressure whole flushing is happening.
