WOOSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE)- Crews from the Woonsocket Highway Division began their annual road construction and paving program on Thursday.
“A sure first sign of spring is seeing our Highway paving crews making our streets safer and more enjoyable to drive and walk on,” said Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt.
Crews started the spring paving on Viva Way, which has not been paved in 50 years.
The city said that it would be release information regarding other roads for this year’s paving schedule soon.
