Woonsocket Comes Back In Final Inning To Beat Moses Brown, Win Division II Softball Title

The Woonsocket softball team scoring four runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to come back and beat Moses Brown Sunday, 9-8. Brittany Girard’s infield single brought home the game-winning run. With the victory, the Villa Novans taking home the Division II state title. It’s the first state crown for Woonsocket since 2010 and first in Division II since 2004.
