Woonsocket detectives investigate threat to high school

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE)- Woonsocket police have confirmed that they were made aware of a threat to Woonsocket High School.

The threats were about a possible shooting at the high school tomorrow, posted on social media.

Detectives were able to identify the source of the threat, a 16-year-old male from Woonsocket, but found no credibility to the threat. No guns were found at the sources residence.

The 16-year-old has been suspended from school and charged with disorderly conduct.
