Woonsocket, Dorchester man charged for murder after fatal shooting in Boston

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Boston Police Department said two men have been charged for murder after a fatal shooting that occurred in early December.
25-year-old Darius Powell, of Woonsocket, and 25-year-old Daiquan Miller, of Dorchester, were charged with the murder of 37-year-old Keith Cousin.
On Dec. 9, at about 10:24 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to the area of Devon Street in Boston for a ShotSpotter activation, which is a device that detects potential gunshots.
Upon arrival, police located the victim suffering from gunshot wounds, who was pronounced dead on scene.
On Dec. 31, Boston police said it was granted an arrest warrant for the murder of Cousin.
Powell and Miller were already in custody due to initial charges of unlawful possession, unlawful possession of a firearm, and unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device related to the incident.
The incident is under investigation at this time.
