Woonsocket Museum of Work and Culture set to reopen after temporary closure

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — In Woonsocket Thursday, the city is celebrating the re-opening of one of its museums.

The Museum of Work and Culture will officially be reopened in a reception held at noon.

Guests will get to participate in a tree art project and see a new interactive exhibit with a cross-section of a 148 year old tree in the city.

The museum had been temporarily closed due to a water-related event.
