Woonsocket Police arrest 2 men after pursuit

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Woonsocket Police Department said it arrested two men after a police pursuit.

Domenic Hernandez was charged with reckless driving, eluding, obstruction, and resisting arrest. 

Domenic Folco was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.   

Police were responding to Cato Street for a separate call when a vehicle that was driving erratically passed.

The responding officer alleged that Hernandez was driving the car, and he recognized the suspect because he had a history of eluding and narcotic violations.

A pursuit then occurred that went through Woonsocket and South Bellingham, and ended at Hernandez’s residence on Progresso Avenue.

Hernandez allegedly attempted to enter his home and was taken into custody.

Folco, who is Hernandez’s father, exited the home and allegedly yelled and threatened police.

He was also taken into custody.
