Woonsocket Police seeking bank robbery suspect

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) –Police are seeking the suspect responsible for a bank robbery Wednesday afternoon in Woonsocket.

According to Woonsocket Police, a male suspect entered the Santander Bank on Social Street around 12:00 p.m. Wednesday.

The suspect was not armed, and passed a note to the teller demanding money, before fleeing the bank with an undetermined amount of cash. 

The suspect was seen on a bicycle both before and after the robbery. Police said the suspect was observed on surveillance changing his clothes after the robbery.
