Woonsocket restaurant manager facing multiple sexual assault charges

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Attorney General Peter Neronha said Tuesday that a Woonsocket man is facing multiple counts of second and third-degree sexual assault.

According to court documents, 30-year-old Aaron Andrews was charged on September 1, with four counts of second-degree sexual assault, four counts of third-degree sexual assault, two counts of simple assault, one count of indecent solicitation of a child and one count of electronically disseminating indecent material to a minor.

Prosecutors allege that Andrews sexually assaulted several of his co-workers on multiple occasions between January 1, 2022 and April 1, of this year. The alleged incidents took place at a Woonsocket restaurant where Andrews was a manager.

The Woonsocket Police Department investigated into the incidents.

Andrews is scheduled for a pre-arraignment conference on January 8, 2024 in Providence County Superior Court.
